At Silver and Ward we are monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) on a daily basis. We are working in accordance with Government guidelines as our clients’ safety is our priority. We appreciate that this is a very worrying time for our clients. We will stay open for as long as we are able to and can confirm that our office is not affected by Coronavirus. However, we are putting in place the appropriate measures by asking all clients who attend at the office to use hand sanitiser on entering the office and ensuring our staff do the same. We ask clients that have made appointments to let us know, on the day of the appointment, if they feel unwell and we will also do the same and the appointment can then be rearranged.
We can offer telephone appointments and appointments via Skype, Zoom and Facetime so we can continue to act for you during this difficult time. We are also offering home visits, where needed, but again in accordance with Government guidelines. In the event that the office is closed for a day due to Court attendance, home visits or the Government advises us to close then we are able to continue to act as usual for clients by working from home and Mrs Mayell and her secretary are already in a position to do so. We have in place secure IT systems and this will enable us to continue to offer the best service to our clients. Our working hours will remain the same even if the office does have to close.
As always, the priority of Silver and Ward is to provide the best service to our clients and help where we can during this very difficult period and we are confident that we can continue to do so and at our expected high level. We will continue to be one of the only solicitors to offer a free first appointment and again this can be via telephone, Skype, Zoom or Facetime if the need arises.
